Sizing of products vary by the product itself:

Shoe sizing can be regular width, or extra width.  This width difference is provided on the size chart of the shoe.  A regular size shoe has no difference, where as a wide shoe is represented by two E's or four E's.

Hockey skates are sized a size and a half less than your shoe size.  For Example if you were a size 9 shoe, you will wear a size 7.5 hockey skate.
